The Cleanse

What's Needed

Here are your first two week cleanse elements.

  1. SP Cleanse® – for purification

  3. SP Complete – for the supplements
  4. SP Green Food – for phytonutrients

First Week

The first week is a basic regimen of raw veggies, shakes (smoothies) and herbs. Your intake will consisted of:

  1. 2-3 three fruit smoothies each day with 2 teaspoons of the SP Complete powder and 1 scoop of SP Green Food per shake.
  2. 7 SP Cleanse® capsules three times a day.
  3. 3 SP Gastro-Fiber® capsules three times a day.

  5. 1 to 1 1/2 gallons of water per day

Second and Third Weeks

The second and third weeks are filled with more raw veggies, shakes (smoothies) and herbs. Your diet will consist of:

  1. 2-3 three fruit smoothies each day with 2 teaspoons of the SP Complete powder and 1 scoop of SP Green Food per shake.
  2. 3 SP Gastro-Fiber® capsules three times a day.
  3. 5 SP Green Food® capsules two times a day.
  4. 3-4oz. of lean meat (chicken) or deep sea fish 2-4 times a day. (after day 11)
  5. Small portions of lentils, brown rice or wild rice.
  6. All the raw fruits and veggies you want to eat from the recommended list provided on page 10 of the Standard Process Inc.® Purification Guide. (twice as many veggie servings than fruit)
  7. 1 to 1 1/2 gallons of water per day

During this cleanse period you can prepare your veggies during meals as salads, stir-fried or steamed portions following the recommended list of veggies and preparation methods found in the Standard Process, Inc.® information.

The Standard Process Inc.® web site offers lots of variations for all the food items. It also offers preparation methods and recipes for meals.

It is especially helpful to have a resource that gives you a variety of ideas so you won't get bored and stray from the cleanse process.

There are a lot of changes your body goes through during that time, but they are normal as your body rids itself from toxins and poisons you have accumulated over years of eating processed foods, breathing polluted air (smoking, etc.), and from the chemicals you use and handle every day. You don't realize how bad it is until you do this cleanse. Your whole bowel system is flushed (no pun intended) and you will feel energetic and alive again.
